We cut the durable felt cloth 200 mm from the sheet’s edge. You thus avoid that the felt on the outer part of the roof sheet absorbs rainwater from the gutter. With other steel manufacturers, the problem is typically solved by the contractor laying a seal on the bottom part of the felt cloth with a clear coating on the construction site. A solution that rarely earns points among the craftsmen who have to carry out the task.
