Steel and the environment

Steel is a natural material and can be regenerated. From a cradle-to-grave standpoint, you can thus take satisfaction from the fact that, many years from now, your steel profiles can be sold as scrap and be re-used in other applications. For example, as a bicycle. Or a lamppost. Or a lawnmower. Environmentally, when it comes to casting, rolling and surface treatment, today, steel is in a completely different class compared to just ten years ago.
