Environmentally conscious company

As the first thin sheet manufacturer in Denmark, we have now achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze for our main product group of steel profiles for roof cladding and facades.Among the certified products are steel solutions with GreenCoat®, where a significant part of the traditional fossil oil in the paint coating has been replaced by Swedish rapeseed oil. It is an excellent example of how DS Stålprofil develops new solutions that last and are easy to recycle in a healthy and safe life cycle.

Care for the environment and sustainability is at the heart of the way we do business. Where technically possible, we aim for the most environmentally friendly manufacturing method. We consider sustainability from the design and planning phase and then in the product’s subsequent biological and technical cycle. We are proud to be part of Cradle to Cradle, the world’s most advanced concept for manufacturing products that create value for people, the environment and the economy.

Sustainable building materials

Steel is a versatile and sustainable building material and, therefore, also an attractive choice if you want to increase sustainability in construction. Thin sheet steel has a very low material consumption (sheet thickness of only 0.60 mm), a long service life and a minimum of maintenance, resulting in a lower climate impact.

Recycling building materials

At DS Stålprofil, we are dedicated to upcycling our building materials. Residual products from production are recycled as far as possible in the manufacture of new products, thereby minimising waste, contamination and waste.
